Health Ministry clarifies on Corona Vaccine Certificate and on Immunity after Vaccination
The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdullah Asiri, explained that the issuance of health ministry electronic certificate for people who received the Covid-19 Vaccine is only after receiving the 2nd dose of Vaccination. Al Asiri during his interview with Al Arabiya TV said that, immunity against the Corona virus does not begin immediately after taking the 2nd dose of Corona vaccination, but the individual needs 14 days after that, in order to get the full immunity provided by the vaccination.
- He expected that the Ministry of Health would complete the vaccination of the first high risk group within 1 to 2 months and after that it would begin giving the vaccine to other groups. Related : Preventive measures must to follow even after Corona Vaccine
