The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, presented a very easy and simple prescription to avoid diabetes, which is healthy food and exercise.



The Minister of Health tweeted through his Twitter account that, "To ensure your safety from diabetes (God willing), or reduce its effects if you have it, be sure to eat healthy food, and practice quick walking for at least half an hour, 5 days In a week".

- The Ministry said, "It is estimated that 7 million suffer from the disease and 3 million others suffer from pre-diabetes," noting that this disease has increased by 10 times in the Kingdom over the past three decades, and the number of children with t1dm has exceeded the half a million mark for the first time In 2015. - The ministry revealed that the health care budget in Saudi Arabia in 2014 amounted to 180 billion riyals, and nearly 25 billion were used exclusively to manage diabetes.
