Saudi Arabia restricts Driver Jobs at Careem Uber like Apps to Saudi Citizens
The Ministry of Human Resource and Social Development in Saudi Arabia announced that only Saudi nationals can drive the ride-hailing (smart) apps cars like (Careem, Uber, etc,.) for transporting passengers in the Kingdom said the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmad bin Suleiman Al-Rajihi. The aim of the decision is to create more job opportunities for Saudi youth citizens and to improve their income and to supporting the Saudi economy in accordance with the Saudi Vision 2030. Recommend : Ministry - An initiative for some expats to return to their home countries
- The ministry affirms on the importance of following 'Passenger Transportation using smart apps is restricted to Saudi citizens' decision, in order to avoid penalties against the violating companies reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
