SAMA directs Banks, Remittance centers to Operate during Non Curfew Hours

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) has decided to operate all branches of banks and remittance transfer centers, while observing the work times specified in the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr by maintaining the importance of social distance at workplace in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. SAMA directed all the banks to work with the minimum administration, according to the banks choice taking into account the adequate space for the spacing between the bank employees at the workplaces, as well as between the employees and customers of the branches and remittance centers. SAMA also highlights the need of following the necessary precautionary measures established by the Ministry of Health with regard to those attending workers for workplaces in accordance with the preventive guide for Corona virus inside workplaces, and to provide screening points at the entrances of workplaces and the entrances to the branches and transfer centers, to measure the temperature of the employees of these branches and centers and their clients .
