Two Bangladeshi Nationals Rescued After Boat Breakdown in Saudi Waters
Search and rescue teams from the Saudi Border Guards in Al-Lith governorate, located in the Makkah region, successfully rescued two Bangladeshi residents after their boat broke down in the open sea. Recommend 💸: Saudi Central Bank reduces Banking service fees for Individuals
The incident happened due to a mechanical malfunction while the boat was at sea. Border Guard rescue teams responded quickly and provided the two individuals with the necessary assistance to ensure their safety.
Following the rescue, the General Directorate of the Border Guard urged all seafarers to strictly follow maritime safety rules. It advised boat owners and operators to make sure their vessels are in excellent condition and seaworthy before setting out to sea.
The Border Guard also reminded the public to report emergencies by calling 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, and 994 in all other regions of Saudi Arabia, to receive immediate emergency assistance.
