The new e-services include:

1. Requesting a change to a citizen’s first name.

2. Delivery of death certificates.

3. Issuing replacements for lost or damaged death certificates.

4. Updating birth certificates.

The Absher platform announced that users can now electronically change their own first name or the first name of their children under 18.

In a post on the X platform, Absher explained that this can be done easily and conveniently online through the first name change service on the Absher website, without visiting civil status offices.

To use the service, users should log in to the Absher platform, go to My Services, select Civil Status Services, then choose Name Field Modification, and finally select the First Name Modification option.
