Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Now Available on Sehhaty: MOH
The Saudi Ministry of Health announced that the seasonal flu vaccine is now available and can be booked through the Sehhaty app.
The ministry explained that the flu vaccine helps reduce the severity of illness, lowers the chance of needing intensive care, and decreases deaths caused by seasonal flu. Recommend: Penalty for crossing red light signal in Saudi Arabia
People at higher risk of flu complications include:
➤ Those with chronic diseases.
➤ People taking medicines that weaken the immune system.
➤ Adults over 50 years old.
➤ Children between 6 months and 5 years old.
➤ Pregnant women.
➤ People with obesity.
➤ Healthcare workers.
