Pakistani man deported from Jeddah after boarding wrong flight and entering Saudi Arabia without Passport and Visa

A Pakistani airline made a huge blunder by flying a passenger to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia instead of Karachi, his intended destination.

According to ARY News, the upset passenger, Shahzain, said that the flight hostess failed to inform him that he had boarded the wrong aircraft, even though he had shown his ticket.

On 8th July, the passenger's only option was to travel from Lahore, the second-biggest city in Pakistan, to Karachi, the largest city, on the private airline's flight PF-146. Most Viewed: Clock Tower Museum in the heart of Makkah

Two planes were parked in the domestic terminal gate of Lahore Airport, and Shahzain did not notice it until after it had happened

Now he has initiated legal action by notifying the carrier Air Sial of his grievances, claiming that the carrier's negligence caused him grief. The airline is being held accountable for what the court petition terms "criminal negligence" in relation to a subject of national security.

After paying additional travel fees, he insisted that the airline pay for them. He also wanted reimbursement for all of the pain and suffering he endured.

A Saudi immigration official captured and deported him when he boarded a plane to Jeddah without the proper documentation. Further, Shahzain verified that he did not have the necessary documentation for overseas travel, including a passport and a visa.

After two hours in the air, I began to wonder why we had not yet arrived in Karachi. He claims that the staff panicked and began pointing the finger at him for the error. He continued by stating that when he asked for a flight to Karachi, they informed him that it would take two or three days.

"The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) informed me that they would conduct an inquiry, and I assured them that I would cooperate," he added. Trending: What is Saudization? What you should know about it.

Lahore Airport Management has held the airline accountable, and the Pakistan Airport Authority has already acknowledged what happened.

The management blamed the airline's "negligence and carelessness" for the passenger's incorrectly predicted arrival in Jeddah rather than Karachi.

The submission of a request for action to the authorities was brought to his attention.

The passenger asked the Sindh High Court for an early hearing in a petition he submitted on Friday; the court agreed and set the hearing for July 21. The complainant's petition named both the private airline and the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) as parties.

"This situation poses a risk to the safety of our nation." According to Ahmed's appeal, which was submitted via his lawyer Muhammad Nawaz Dahri, a JIT (joint investigation team) has to be established to examine this issue. See Also: Saudi Arabia to expand its railway network by 50%

"How is it possible for someone to travel internationally without a plane ticket, passport, and other necessary paperwork?" The private airline is guilty of criminal negligence.

Additionally, Ahmed asserted that the airline's management had harassed him.

"We should suspend the private airline's license until the investigation concludes," he demanded.

Ahmed had previously served the airline with a court notice in which he claimed that the company had denied him assistance and had subjected him to shame and misery. He described experiencing "severe mental trauma" and mentioned the need to buy an additional ticket to get back to Karachi.

“In the letter, the civil aviation regulator has been requested to impose a heavy fine on the airline that is guilty of negligence,” Pakistan Airports Authority spokesman Saifullah, who goes by a single name, told Arab News.

Ahmed’s legal notice demanded a written response within two days alongside compensatory damages.

Air Sial has not publicly commented on the matter. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Pinterest
