Saudi Arabia's Nationwide Campaign Uncovers Thousands of Regulation Breaches


During a week-long operation, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior worked together in the field to locate 22,497 people who were not in compliance with the regulations for residency, labor, and the border.

📌 Authorities revealed the following results, which took place in all regions between 17th July and 23rd July 2025:

* A total of 13,817 people were found to be involved in breaching residency rules.

* 5,280 cases of violating border regulations.

* 3,400 cases related to labor violations.

Also, 1,687 people were stopped from entering the Kingdom as they were trying to enter without proper authorization. There were 61% Ethiopians, 38% Yemenis, and 1% people from other nations.

Officials also reported that 40 people sought to leave the Kingdom without proper documentation, while 15 people were found to be supporting others in transporting, sheltering, and employing non-compliant individuals, who weren't obeying the country's residency, border, or labor regulations. 🗂️ The Process for Leaving and Cases Being Reviewed

Currently, the Ministry is reviewing 18,342 active cases, involving 15,785 men and 2,557 women. The Ministry said:

* 11,099 people have departed from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

* The Ministry is currently arranging travel plans for 3,201 people.

* Another 11,183 people have been sent to their embassies to finish the paperwork they need.

⚠️ Warning Regarding Compliance

The Ministry has issued a reminder that those who assist individuals not meeting legal requirements for entry, residence, or labor—or are involved in their transportation—could face strict administrative consequences. These can be:

1. Penalties of up to one million riyals could be imposed.

2. Detention periods of up to 15 years.

3. Actions related to property (if needed).

4. Sharing facts about the case as part of attempts to raise awareness.

The Ministry tells citizens and residents to report such cases using the right channels:

* Call 911 for emergencies in the Eastern Province, Makkah, Madina, and Riyadh.
