SAUDI EXPATRIATES

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia announced on July 27, 2025, that it is extending the grace period for the final departure of visit visa holders across all categories and designations.

The payment of any applicable fees and fines as stated by Saudi legislation is mandatory for the next 30-day window, which will start on the 1st of Safar, 1447 AH.

For the sake of legal departure from the Kingdom and to avoid further penalties, the Saudi Jawazat recommended all visitors take advantage of the extended stay within the designated window.

The program seeks to facilitate compliance to Saudi Arabia's immigration and residency regulations while reducing the leaving process.

1. Log in to your Absher Individuals account and verify the OTP that you received on your phone.

2. After choosing "My Services," select "Passports."

3. After selecting the "Tawasul" service, select "New Request."

4. From the selection box, choose "Extend an expired visit visa for the purpose of departing" as the final choice.

6. Choose the beneficiary type from Personal Request, Dependent Request, Visitor Request, Resident Request, or Establishment Request that best fits your situation.

7. Press "Next."

8. Choose the visitor's name, add a description, and attach your document on the following page.
