The decision is in accordance with the kingdom's continuous efforts to enhance the pilgrimage experience and simplify the necessary processes.

As a result of these changes, not only citizens but also permanent residents of GCC nations can use a variety of visas to perform the Umrah.

Umrah visas can be obtained through nusuk.sa, transit visas can be obtained through Saudi Airlines and Flynas (saudia.com and flynas.com), and tourist visas can be obtained through the official portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (ksavisa.sa).

Anyone planning to perform Umrah or worship in the Rawdah Al Sharifah, the holy chamber of Medina's Prophet's Mosque, must first acquire a permit through the Nusuk app, regardless of residency status. Recommend: Riyadh Metro opens another new station at its Orange Line
