Saudi Arabia opens World's First 3D printed Mosque in Jeddah


The first mosque ever built using the groundbreaking technology of 3D printing was unveiled in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia recently, and the entire globe rejoiced. This mosque, located in the Al-Jawhara district, was named in honor of the late Abdulaziz Abdullah Sharbatly by his wife, the renowned Saudi businesswoman Wajnat Abdulwahed. The project was overseen by Abdulwahed, the head of Fursan Real Estate, and state-of-the-art 3D printers were obtained from Guanli, a well-known Chinese manufacturer of 3D printing technology. The development of a large 5,600 sq m building that skillfully combines modernity with tradition was made possible by this novel technique, this project was completed in just over 9 months.
