Saudization of Dental Profession by 35% starting from this date - MHRSD


The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, announced the decision of Saudization in the dental professions in the private sector by 35%, starting from 10th March 2024. This is in line with the two ministries initiatives to give both male and female citizens in many areas more stimulating and fruitful employment options in the Kingdom.

- According to the Ministry of Health, it will work to monitor and put into effect this decision, which increases the level of labor market participation, and will oversee its execution in accordance with the demands of the labor market and the specialization of the dental profession.

- The Ministry of Health has confirmed that private sector organizations will benefit from the incentives and assistance programs offered by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to aid them in hiring Saudi nationals. - These programs include assistance with the recruitment process and the search for qualified candidates, assistance with the necessary training and qualification process, assistance with the recruitment and career continuity process, as well as priority benefits from all the Saudization support programs available in the system and support and employment program through Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF).

- For its part, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development issued a guide explaining the details of Saudization, professions and required percentages on the Ministry’s website, stressing the need for establishments to comply and adhere to the implementation of the provisions, in order to avoid the statutory penalties that will be applied against violators. - The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, for its part, published a guide on the website of the Ministry outlining the specifics of Saudization, professions, and necessary percentages, highlighting the necessity for establishments to comply with and adhere to the implementation of the provisions in order to avoid the statutory penalties that will be applied against violators.

- Human Resources Advisor, Muhammad Al-Qaseer while speaking with Al-Ekhbariya channel said that, the decision of Saudizaiton of dental professions in private sector companies includes those employ 3 or more doctors.
