An employee has right to Complain if the Salary differs from the Employment contract - MHRSD


The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) for Labor Affairs, Eng. Faisal Al-Dhafyan, confirmed that the worker has the right to file a complaint in case of real salary differs from the recorded in the contract signed between the employer and worker. During an interview with Al-Arabiya channel, Al-Dhafyan said that claiming the right of the worker does not require waiting until the end of the work contract, as the two parties have work contract, to which the law guarantees them their rights.

- He added that, in such case we seek to resolve the dispute between the worker and the employer as per the document signed between them, and in case of any dispute, the matter will be referred to the labor courts to issue the necessary decision. - Al-Dhayan highlighted that documenting the contracts of workers in the private sector is must, as per the ministerial decision, with the aim of preserving the rights of the employee and employer, as the ministry has developed several services related to the matter on Qiwa platform.
