The Ministry of Human Resources reveals 13 examples of Human Trafficking and warns against it


The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia has warned against human trafficking, stating that it is a crime punishable by law, explaining that it is planned to use, transport, recruit, harbor or receive a person for the purpose of abuse.







The HR ministry clarified that there are 13 examples of human trafficking, including

1. Charging the worker with unobligated fees or costs.

2. Hiring the worker for forced labor. Read : 4 new amendments to the regulations of Huroob (Absent From Work)

3. Employing the worker without a written or reliable work contract.

4. Abuse of position or influence.

5. Removal of organs or conducting Medical experiments.





6. Failure of the company to comply with the vacations mentioned by Saudi Labor Law for workers.


8. Passport seizure.

9. Forcing and threats.

10. Misuse the worker for begging.

11. Mistreating a worker.




12. Defrauding the worker.

13. Employing children below the age of 15 years without observing the provisions of Article 167 of Saudi Labor Law.
