Saudi Red Crescent advises of wearing 2 things to avoid getting Sunstroke


The Saudi Red Crescent advised its citizens and residents to wear a hat and glasses during the summer. The authority said these two pieces contribute to protect from the summer sunstroke and its consequences. Follow Saudi Expatriates page on Linkedin







The experts in the field of Health and First Aid, stated that 4 main measures to save the person with heat stroke, which includes the following.

1. Take the patient in a cool place.

2. Make sure the place you put the patient is well ventilated.

4. Immediately call an ambulance to transport the injured person to the nearest hospital.





- According to Al-Arabiya, Heatstroke is a condition caused by excessive body heat, as a result of prolonged exposure to the scorching sun or physical exertion in high air temperatures.

- Its symptoms are throbbing headache, dizziness, light headiness or fainting, decreased sweating despite a high temperature, redness of the skin, weakness and cramps of muscles, vomiting and nausea, rapid heartbeat, difficulty in swallowing and breathing, behavioral disturbances, and a body temperature of 104 F (40 degrees Celsius) or higher.
