Fine for delaying renewal of Iqama, Is it possible to enter Saudi without getting any Corona vaccine?


The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia confirmed the imposing of a fine for delaying the renewal of iqama (resident identity), 3 days after its expiry date. Trending : Saudi Arabia is third top destination for worldwide expatriates







Saudi Jawazat through its official Twitter account clarified the fine for delaying renewal of iqama for the first time is 500 riyals and in case of repeating it again the fine is 1,000 riyals.

- The General Directorate of Passports explained that the beneficiary's record is required to be free of violations, in order to issue or renew resident identity (iqama) for an expatriate worker. Read : Iqama can be renewed even if the employer services suspended

- This come as a clarification from Jawazat after a question was received, asking "If a person has violations, can he able to renew his identity and travel outside Saudi Arabia without having to pay it".





Is it possible to enter into Saudi Arabia without getting any Corona vaccine?

- Responding it, Jawazat said the conditions for entering into Kingdom after the precautionary and preventive measures of Corona pandemic lifted are

1. No need to wear mask indoors with the exception of Masjid Al-Haram (Makkah's Grand Mosque) and Masjid Al-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque). Places for which protocols are issued in Weqaya. Facilities, activities, events and public transportation that you wish to apply.




2. Verification of Immune health status on Tawakkalna application is no more required, to enter facilities, activities, events and board planes and public transportation with the exceptions in companies, activities, occasion, events, flights and public transportation, whose nature requires the requirement of immunization or to continue to verify the health status or wish to implement it.

3. For citizens, who wants to go outside Saudi Arabia, the duration of the requirement of taking booster dose (3rd dose) of corona vaccine is 8 months instead of 3 months after receiving 2nd dose. With the exceptions of age groups set by the Ministry of Health or exempted groups, as per their health status in Tawakkalna. Recommend : Procedure to check iqama expiry date without using Absher
