Stick to permitted size, weight and dimensions of Baggage while traveling tells Hajj Ministry to departing pilgrims
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has called on all departing Umrah pilgrims to stick to the requirements of travel baggage sizes, weights and specifications while leaving Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a safe and comfort journey. Most Viewed : Country wise Hajj quota for the year 2022
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah further clarified that the types of baggage allowed on the plane are fully closed packages and bags as per the number of pieces and weight allowed.
- The Ministry said that, it is allowed to take one bag inside the plane as carry bag, including a backpack, laptop bag or handbag as per the allowed dimensions. Read : Umrah visa holders can travel across the Kingdom during their stay
- It is not allowed to carry plastic bags, damaged packages, open bags or more baggage than specified in ticket or allowed on the plane. Know all the requirements of baggage before coming to the airport and finish your travel procedures smoothly and easily.
- The Ministry asked to communicate with airline carrier when needed to make sure the specifications of allowed baggage while traveling and stick to the instructions issued by the GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation), in order to reduce waiting time in the departure halls.
