Visit Visa holders can contact Health Insurance Council for rectifying their Health status on Tawakkalna


The Tawakkalna application in Saudi Arabia clarified that those who entered into the Kingdom on Visit visa after obtaining medical insurance against Covid-19, shall contact the Health Insurance Council in cases of their status is not 'Insured Visitor' on the Tawakkalna.







This came as clarification on the complaints made by some people who are visitors and medically insured against corona virus and their health status is not 'Insured visitor' on the Tawakkalna app. Such visit visa holders can contact the Health Council on 92001177, in order to check their validity of medical insurance.

- According to the new rules, it is mandatory for all those who arrive in Saudi Arabia on all kinds of visit visas to have medically insured in order to cover their medical treatment in case of any infection with corona virus. - Tawakkalna also specified that the health status of the visitors on Tawakkalna app will be "insured visitor", if they entered into Kingdom on visit visa, given that they have active and valid medical insurance.





Uninsured Visitor status on Tawakkalna application :

- In case the visitor comes to the Kingdom without having active and valid medical insurance, his or her health status on Tawakkalna will be "Uninsured Visitor".

- All kinds of Visit visa holders coming to the Kingdom can now use their own health status through the Tawakkalna application, which is linked to health insurance, in order to cover the costs of treating corona virus infection during the period of their stay in Saudi Arabia. Similar : Saudi Arabia will no longer bear the costs of treating corona infection for private sector
