Issuing a Umrah permit in the last 10 days of Ramadan with a condition - Ministry of Hajj and Umrah


The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia said that an Umrah permit can be issued in the last 10 days of the blessed month of Ramadan, only if the applicant do not have previous permit issued during Ramadan.







The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah through its official Twitter account explained this in response to an inquiry regarding this stating, "You can issue an Umrah permit in the last 10 days of Ramadan, if you have not previously issued an Umrah permit during Ramadan".

- So far, more than 4.2 million pilgrims have performed Umrah during the first 20 days of Ramadan, as per the precautionary measures, said Osama Al-Hujaili, the Undersecretary General for Tafweeq and Crowds Management. See Also : Umrah visa holders can travel across the Kingdom during their stay

- Earlier this, the Ministry stated that pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom to perform Umrah must issue a permit through Eatmarna application, stating that they are not infected or in contact with infected person with the Covid-19.





- The Ministry also clarified that women under the age of 45 years are now allowed to issue Umrah visit, and they are not obligated to a mahram or women group. Related : Now women can perform Umrah without a mahram

- The Ministry restated that there is no option to modify the date of Umrah permit, however it can be canceled through Eatmarna before the permit enters and can issued a new permit.

- Non-vaccinated people are allowed to pray in the Two Holy Mosques, and can issue Umrah permit, however they must not be infected with corona or in contact with the infected person. Join Saudi Expatriates Telegram channel
