SDAIA calls on Public to preserve their Personal information and not reveal it to anyone
Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has called all the public (Saudi citizens and Residents) in the Kingdom to take precaution and not to respond any types of communications that aims to collect your personal information and passwords.
The SDAIA stated that this could result in stealing the data of individuals and causing damage to them, The authority called all the individuals to take precautions and not to respond such communications that aims to tempt the callers to disclose their personal information and confidential numbers. - The Authority said over the past few days, it had monitored a number of data theft cases in which citizens and residents were the victims. They were harmed through tricks, employed by corrupted guys, some of whom, claimed to be affiliated with National Information Center, asking them to update their bank data.
- SADIA said that several phone calls were received by citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia from individuals, stating, they are affiliated with the National Information Center, to update bank data.
- The fact is that, the National Information Center does not contact beneficiaries, the SDAIA calls on the public to preserve the confidentially of their personal data and commit to the relevant regulations and policies issued by the National Data administration office at the authority, reports Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
