No more need of permit to perform Prayers at the Makkah's Grand Mosque or to visit the Prophet in Madina
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia announced the cancellation of permits for the issuance of prayer in the Grand Mosque in Makkah and in the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina, as well as the cancellation of permits to visit the Prophet.
Therefore, from now on, there is no need to obtain a permit or schedule an appointment to perform prayers at Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah or Masjid Al-Nabawi in Madina or to visit the grave of the Prophet (peace Be Upon Him). Recommend: Saudi Arabia to extend Ukrainian visas for 3 months
However, the ministry confirmed that the permits will continue to be issued for Umrah and for praying in the Rawdah Al-Sharifa through the Eatmarna and Tawakkalna applications, ensuring a smooth flow of worshipers and pilgrims while reducing overcrowding.
"The "Immune" status on the Tawakkalna application is the only requirement for entering and performing prayers at the two holy mosques, as confirmed by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Join Saudi Expatriates on Telegram for latest updates

This decision includes cancelling social distancing in the Kingdom, eliminating the requirement to wear masks in open areas, and allowing masks to be worn in closed spaces.
