Human Resources Ministry clarifies on the possibility of Transferring a private driver job to a Company
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia has clarified the possibility of transferring a job of private driver to work in a company, if he is an expatriate worker.
This came in response to a question received from one of the expat worker, in which he asked, "Is it possible to change the profession of a private driver and transfer to a company?"
- The Human Resources Ministry said that the service of transferring an expat worker job from an individual to a company is available. Trending : HR Ministry launched an application with 9 services and 4 advantages
- The Article 40 of the Saudi Labor Law states that, “The employer shall bear the fees for transferring the services of the worker who wishes to transfer his services to him.”
- While Article 18 of Saudi Labor Law states that, “If the ownership of the company is transferred to a new owner, or there is a change in its legal form by merging or fragmentation, or otherwise, the work contracts remain valid in both cases, and the service is considered continuous.” Follow Saudi Expatriates on Telegram
