Jawazat reveals the procedure to Approve or Reject Service Transfer Request, for Domestic Workers through Absher
The Jawazat Authority in Saudi Arabia revealed the service which allows resident expat domestic workers to approve or reject the request for the transfer of their job service through their Absher Individuals. Similar : Domestic workers in Saudi Arabia can now able to change their Employer through Absher
The Saudi Jawazat explained, through its official Twitter account that the way to allow the resident expat (domestic worker) to accept or reject his Job Transfer services by the following steps:
1. Login to your Absher Afrad (Individuals) account, verify OTP.
2. Go to 'My Services' option
3. Then click "Services". Recommend : 5 conditions for reporting Huroob of domestic workers through Absher
4. Select "Passports" and
5. Choose "Service Transfer Approvals"
- The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) also clarified that the request for transfer of services is required to be approved within 7 days.
- This service is similar to requests for transferring sponsorship in other professions than domestic workers through the Qiwa platform. Read : Procedure for transferring employee services from one employer to another through Qiwa
- The transfer of sponsorship of domestic workers can take place only if the current employer is ready for transferring their service. Meanwhile, the new employer will wait for the approval from domestic worker through the above procedure, after which the rejection or approval will be transferred.
