The Sultanate of Oman reduces the time interval for taking Booster dose of the Corona Vaccine


The Ministry of Health in the Sultanate of Oman announced a reduction in the time period for the booster dose of corona vaccine to 3 months after receiving the second dose, starting from 21st December 2021. Download Saudi Expatriates App from Google Play Store







Earlier in November, The Ministry of Health reduced the time period for taking the booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine from 8 months to 6 months, now its further reduced to 3 months.

- This decision comes after the Supreme Committee allowed those from the age of 18 years and above to get the third dose. The decision will help to speed up the program to limit the spread of Omicron variant in the Sultanate. Trending : Saudi Arabia and Oman opened their first land road between two countries

- According to Oman News Agency, The Ministry of Health announced reducing the time period for the booster dose from 6 months to 3 months from the date of receiving the 2nd dose, with the decision taking effect starting Tomorrow (Tuesday).





- On December 13, the Ministry of Health in the Sultanate of Oman announced the registration of the first two cases of the "Omicron" new Corona variant of two citizens who came from abroad.

- The Ministry called one everyone over the age of 18 years to take the booster dose of the corona vaccine available in primary care institutions. Read : Importance of figs in maintaining health of bones and teeth

- The Health Ministry also called on everyone to stick to preventive measures, wear a mask in all closed places, maintain social distancing, avoid crowded places and maintain washing hands.
