Ministry of Commerce : Booster dose is a condition for the continuation of Immune status and entry into the Markets
The Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia highlighted the booster dose of the Corona vaccine, stating that it is a condition for the continuation of the 'Immune' status and to entry into markets, centers and commercial establishments. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Telegram
The Ministry explained, through its official Twitter account that, receiving the booster dose includes age groups of 18 years and above and all those who have been 8 months or more since receiving the second dose, with the exception of those who are exempt from taking the vaccine according to the status of Tawakkalna application. - The ministry added that control of all commercial establishments, markets and malls will be tightened to prevent any misuse, and penalties will be applied against violators. The ministry also clarified that these conditions will be applied as of 1st February, 2022.
- Today (6th December), Saudi Arabia announced 43 new corona infections, 26 new recoveries and 1 death, raising the total corona cases in the Kingdom to 549,955 of them 539,082 recovered with 8,845 deaths.
- Active corona cases in the Kingdom slightly raised to 2,028 of them 37 are critical and are in intensive cares. Jeddah tops in the list of active cases with 243, Riyadh with 114, Makkah with 109, while Madina has 106 active corona infections. - Saudi Arabia has so far provided over 47.73 million (47,734,779) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of them 402,582 are booster doses and the elderly people received 1,722,976 doses.
