Non-Umrah pilgrims starts performing Tawaf on 1st Floor of the Makkah's Grand Mosque


After a generous approval of allowing non-Umrah pilgrims for performing circumambulation (Tawaf), the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques received non-pilgrims for Tawaf on the first floor of the Makkah's Grand Mosque from 25th November. This service is available now through a icon of Tawaf (circumambulation) through Eatmarna application from 25th November, where the non-pilgrims can book a permit to Tawaf around the Kaaba from the first floor of the Masjid Al-Haram.

- The presidency of the Holy Mosque has set 3 time slots for the performance of Tawaf for the non-Umrah worshipers. First one from 7 AM to 10 AM, second one 9 PM to 11:59 PM and the third time slot is 12 AM to 3 AM of the early morning. Recommend : GACA issues a circular to all airlines on resuming direct entries from 6 countries to Saudi Arabia

- This comes in line with implementing the recent order of King Salman to allow using the full capacity of the Grand Mosque for pilgrims and worshipers. Umrah pilgrims and worshipers are required to wear masks at all times when they are within the Grand Mosque and its courtyards.





- The General President of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, also directed the necessity of the readiness of all agencies and departments operating in the Grand Mosque and their employees to intensify their efforts for this event and provide all possibilities for their comfort, after closing the circumambulation for non-pilgrims since the emergence of the Corona pandemic. - The General Presidency added that 4000 male and female workers were provided to be supervised by 200 employees of the Department of Cleaning the Carpets of the Grand Mosque, around the 24 hours. See Also : 





- The entire Grand Mosque is also perfumed with 45,000 liters of the finest types of deodorants, and 100 scented oases are used inside the old house, and about 500 equipment and a modern washing machine are used to purify and sterilize the Sacred Mosque and its facilities, and one washing process takes about 25 minutes.

- The presidency also provided 3000 waste containers of various sizes to raise the level of disinfection, and opened 50 doors for entry and exit, in addition to more than 500 automatic devices for sterilizing hands with a sensor feature, 20 bio-care devices, 11 smart robots for sterilization and 550 Manual sterilization pumps.
