Riyadh, Jeddah and Madina tops in Active corona cases in Saudi Arabia on 15th September


The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia highlighted the importance of receiving the second dose and speed up it, as it is the only way to confront corona variants, it will raise the level of immunity and activate them after the first dose, stating that it is important to achieve community immunity.







The Ministry of Health advised everyone to communicate with the 937 Center for consultations and inquiries around the clock, to receive health information and services, and to know the developments of the Corona virus.

- Today, The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announces 88 new corona infections, 70 recoveries and 7 deaths, bringing the total corona cases in the Kingdom to 546,251 of which 535,260 recovered with 8,640 deaths. - Corona active cases in Saudi Arabia slightly raised to 2,351 of which 449 are critical and are in intensive cares of hospitals and medical facilities. Riyadh tops in active cases with 169, Jeddah with 133 and Madina with 119 active covid-19 cases.





- In the last 24 hours, Kingdom has performed 50,198 corona tests and so far 28,198,776 covid-19 tests since the beginning of the pandemic in Saudi Arabia.

- Saudi Arabia has provided more than 40 million doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom to Saudi nationals, resident expats and visitors through its 587 vaccination centers.

- The Ministry reveals that, of the total vaccinated doses, more than 17.23 million (17,239,768) people received 2 doses of vaccine, while more than 22.91 million (22,917,742) people received their first dose and elderly people received about 1,629,645 doses of vaccine against Corona virus.
