Saudi Arabia reports just 290 new Corona infections, Lowest after months
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia renewed the reminder that the second dose of corona vaccine can be taken after 3 weeks from the date of receiving the first dose.
This came in response from 937 Twitter account to a inquiry stating, As per the current recommendations, is it possible to take the 2nd dose of any type of Corona vaccine, after at least 3 weeks (21 days) after taking the first dose.
- The Ministry also clarified that the vaccine can be received after the completion of the isolation period in the absence of infection with Corona, but it is confirmed the infection, the vaccine can be received after at least 10 days of infection. - Today (On 26th August), Saudi Arabia announced just 290 new Corona infections, 535 new recoveries and 7 deaths, after testing 65,815 Covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours.
- The total corona infections in the Kingdom slightly raised to 543,318 of which 530,917 recovered with 8,512 deaths, so far the health ministry of the Kingdom conducted more than 27.16 million (27,163,039) Covid-19 tests since the beginning of the pandemic.
- Active Corona cases in Saudi Arabia drops to 3,889 of which 1,061 are critical and are in intensive cares. Jeddah tops in active corona cases with 216, Yanbu with 183 and Ar Ar with 150 active cases. Recommend : Immune residents are exempted from Home or Institutional quarantine
- Saudi Arabia has provided more than 35 million (35,338,529) doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of which, 21.75 million are first doses, 13.58 million people received 2 doses of Corona vaccine, while elderly people received 1,580,190 doses of the vaccine.
