Saudi Arabia allows use of Full seating in Domestic Flights with Conditions from September
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia confirmed that, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and at the request of some national air carriers, the possibility of using the full seat capacity inside the cabin of the aircraft for domestic flights, starting from 1st September, 2021. The GACA stated that, it is must for all passengers to be fully vaccinated with two doses, with the exception of groups that are not obligated to take the vaccine (the age group of below 12 years) or the excluded medical condition cases, according to what is issued by the competent health authorities in the Kingdom. - The authority highlighted the importance of continuing to stick to wearing a mask, washing hands, and applying all preventive measures approved in domestic and international aviation protocols issued by the Public Health Authority (Weqaya).
