Jawazat reveals the conditions for Extending the Exit Re-Entry visa


The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia has set the conditions for extending the exit and re-entry visa, reveals it in response to resident expatriates inquiries. For Latest Updates : Join Saudi Expatriates on Telegram







The Saudi Jawazat , through its official Twitter account clarified that, exit and re-entry visa cannot be extended because the resident's identity period is less than 90 days. - The General Directorate of Passports confirmed that the extension of the exit and re-entry visa requires the renewal of a resident expatriate identity (iqama) in order to extend the visa for the required period.

- The Jawazat explained that the validity of the resident’s ID card is 5 years from the date of issuance, and is renewed annually electronically through the employer’s Absher platform.





- Earlier, Jawazat said that, it is not possible to issue final exit visa, if the beneficiary is outside the Kingdom, However, exit re-entry visa can be extend for the expatriates outside the Kingdom after paying the SADAD fee through Absher platform of the employer.
