Starting July, Second dose of Corona Vaccine will be made available to Everyone
The second dose of Corona virus vaccine will be available to everyone in Saudi Arabia, starting from July, reports Al Ekhbariya channel after the officials in one of the corona vaccine centers confirmed it.
Earlier, The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, confirmed that the Kingdom's leadership is keen to provide highly effective vaccines to confront the emerging corona virus (Covid-19).

- The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Preventive Health, Abdullah Asiri, said that delaying the second dose of the Corona vaccine restores better immunity in some vaccines.
- He highlighted that "there is no need to worry about delaying the 2nd dose for some groups of society, it is for the public good, and the follow-up of immunity levels after the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines shows that there is no ideal period between the two doses."
- Today, Saudi Arabia announced 1,236 new Covid-19 cases, 1,050 recoveries and 15 deaths in the last 24 hours and on 18th June 2021. Total number of cases in the Kingdom reaches to 471,959 of which 453,259 recovered with 7,650 deaths. Recommend : Exit Re-Entry visas and Iqamas extended until 31st July for expats outside Saudi Arabia and in suspended countries
- More than 86,695 corona tests done in the last 24 hours, raising the total number and about 20.7 million (20,799,293) Covid-19 tests done by the Ministry in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic.
- Active cases of Covid-19 jumped above 11,050, in which 1,496 cases are in critical care, Jeddah tops in active cases with 1,461, Makkah with 1,105 and Riyadh with 906.
- Saudi Arabia has provided more than 16.3 million (16,391,635) doses of vaccine against corona virus through out the Kingdom with the help of more than 587 vaccination centers. Follow us on 'Saudi Expatriates on imo'
