Ministry of Human Resources announces Eid Al-Fitr Holidays for the Public, Private and Non-Profit sectors


The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) in Saudi Arabia has announced the blessed Eid Al Fitr holidays for the public, private and non-profit sectors of the Kingdom.



The Ministry of Human Resources through its official Twitter said that the public sector holiday begins at the end of Thursday, 6th May, 2021 (24th Ramadan), and ends at the end of Monday, 17th May,2021 (5th Shawwal). - While for the private and non-profit sectors, the holidays begins from the end of Tuesday, 11th May, 2021 (29th Ramadan) for a period of 4 days.

- The Ministry explained that employers must follow by the provisions of the second table of Article (24) of the Executive Regulations of the Labor Law. Related : Four days holidays for each Eid for Private sector workers in Saudi Arabia
