Tuesday is the first day of the blessed month Ramadan in Saudi Arabia


Tuesday, 13th April 2021, will be the first day of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia, as the crescent of the blessed month was sighted.



The royal court in Saudi Arabia announced that tomorrow, Tuesday, is the first day of the holy month Ramadan, and it stated that the Supreme Court of Kingdom announced that tomorrow, Tuesday, is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan.

- The crescent of the holy month was sighted by the authorities on Monday evening.

- Ramadan is the 9th month of Hijri calendar, it is usually 29 to 30 days long depending on moon sighting, Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of the Ramadan month.

- During the holy month Ramadan, All Muslims will fast from dawn to dusk, The holy month may vary in some countries by one day, depending on moon sighting.

- Muslims celebrate the start of Ramadan by greeting each other with 'Ramadan Kareem' or 'Ramadan Mubarak', it means a blessed and generous month to you.

- Starting from the evening of moon sighting, Muslims prays Taraweeh after Isha prayer, it ends after the moon sighting on month end.

- Ramadan Kareem to all of the Muslims, who are entered the blessed month and to those who are entering this month tomorrow.
