Saudi Moroor specifies steps to Activate 'Digital Driving License' through Absher Individuals
The General Traffic department (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia explained the steps to activate the 'Digital Driving License' through Ministry of Interior's "Absher Individuals" application.
Saudi Moroor in its awareness video, explained the below steps to activate 'Digital Driving License' in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through 'Absher Individuals'. Similar : Procedure to activate Digital Iqama
1. Login to your Absher Individuals app.
2. Click on 'My Services' tab.
3. Choose the Digital ID activation box, select the Driving license box.
4. Select 'Activate Digital Driving License' field from the bottom of the screen.
- Moroor explained that Digital Driving License allows its holder to download the license data on smartphones through Absher Individuals app, it can be showed to the traffic man in case of not carrying original license.
- The Ministry of Interior, represented by Public Security, General Traffic Department, launched the electronic version of the driver's license, through the Ministry of Interior's electronic application 'Absher Individuals' and 'Tawakkalna' application. - Digital copy of the driver's license, which was developed in cooperation with the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, represented by the National Information Center, is approved by the security authorities in all procedures that require its presentation.
- Saudi Moroor pointed out that it includes a variable QR code, and a copy of it can be kept on the smart device and used without the need to connect to the Internet. See Also : Absher's Messages and Requests now renamed as 'Tawasul'
