Jail Term, Fine and Deportation of Expats who intentionally Transmitting Corona to others


The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia revealed the punishment for the crime of intentionally transmitting Corona virus infection to others.



Those who ever intentionally transmits Covid-19 to others without harming to any other penalties directed by Sharia law or regulations, he or she will be punished with the following.

1. Jail term for up to 5 years.

3. Deportation of the resident expat from Saudi Arabia and preventing him from entering into Kingdom permanently.

4. Penalties will be double, in case of repeating the act.

5. Special penalties vary as per the severity of the crime and the damage resulting from it.

- The Public Prosecution said that crimes of intentionally transmitting corona virus infection arise as soon as they expose the protected interest in public health system to risk the possibility of transmitting the infection by any intentional and wrongful practices in this regard. Recommend : Oman suspends travel from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh until further notice
