New Employer to bear Iqama fee and Work Permit Fee - Ministry of Human Resources


The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia confirmed that the new employer bears the residency and work permit fees. 



This came in response after an inquiry by one of the beneficiaries, asking: “My iqama has been suspended for 4 years because the sponsor refused to renew it, If the job is transferred, will the new sponsor bear the fees of previous years? - The official account of care for the clients of the Ministry of Human Resources responded it via Twitter, stating, “The new employer bears the iqama fees and the work permit fee and their renewal fee, and the fines that would result from delaying that.”
