SFDA reveals the required number of doses of Corona Vaccine and Where to Provide it


The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) announced that the Corona vaccine in the first phase will be available only in government departments, indicating that it will consider the issue of making it available to private parties in the coming days.



The Saudi Food and Drug Authority said that it had undertaken many initiatives to reduce the effects of the pandemic, noting that it had formed a scientific team since the first day of the Corona pandemic in order to know the vaccine and drugs. - SFDA stated that there are monitoring programs after the use of the Pfizer vaccine, whose registration came after extensive study, confirming that the introduction of the vaccine will be from the age of 16 years and above.

- The authority confirmed that she will follow the vaccine after using it in its active phase, which aims to ensure its safety and early detection of any side effects that may occur.

- A spokesperson of the Food and Drug Administration explained that the vaccine is safe, because it passes the testing stages effectively, stressing that a person needs two doses between 21 days .
