 King Abdullah Financial District Mosque wins the International Architecture Award for the Year 2020


The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Mosque in Riyadh has won the International Architecture Award for the religious designs category for the year 2020.

- The jury selected the King Abdullah Financial Center mosque, due to the architectural creativity, engineering innovation in its column free design and desert flower inspired shape.

- The International Architecture Award is one of the most important awards in the urban design sector, which was established in 2004 by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum and the European Center for Geometric Forms, to honor the best modern buildings in terms of planning and engineering designs and to honor the creative architects in their field, and urban planning engineers globally.
