The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, warned of a step that could cause an increase in the number of new infections of Coronavirus, stressing that in the event of non-compliance with the precautionary measures, infections will rise again in the coming weeks, despite the recent decrease in the number of infections.



During a press conference, The Minister of Health said, “We expect the number of cases to rise again in the coming weeks in Saudi Arabia, in case the implementation of the precautionary measures is negligent, Our commitment to preventive measures will protect us from the 2nd wave, and I advise everyone who has symptoms to go to clinics that reassure.

- The Minister of Health also said, “We are in one compound and the failure of some affects everyone, so we must work to call everyone to stick to the preventive measures. We are currently reaping the fruits of our commitment during the previous period to health precautions. Where we are witnessing a significant decrease in the number of cases in general and cases in intensive care in particular. - The Minister of Health added, “Based on what we see in these countries and we are part of this world and our leniency in applying precautions, we expect, God forbid, that infections will rise again in the Kingdom during the coming weeks unless they abide by and everyone is keen to implement the precautionary measures and contribute to spreading the culture of Commitment, which greatly contributes to preventing Coronavirus and limiting its spread, in order to preserve the health and safety of all members of society. - Regarding the Corona vaccine, the Minister of Health said, “Research is underway in a number of countries of the world in full swing to reach a vaccine for the new Corona virus, and we in the Kingdom follow with interest these vaccines, their quality and safety, and we are very keen to secure the vaccine as soon as its safety and effectiveness is fully assured, so your safety is always our priority. We thank the wise leadership that has given citizen’s health a major priority in order to preserve it, and I also thank health practitioners for their wonderful efforts during the past period.

- He continued, “I advise everyone who has symptoms to go to Tatman clinics, which number more than 230 clinics in all regions of the Kingdom, and more than 20 car examination stations are available to serve those who do not complain of symptoms, or have mild symptoms, and they think that they have had contact with an infected person by reservation.
