 No Coronavirus infections among Umrah pilgrims reveals the Presidency of Two Holy Mosques


The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques said that, We received nearly 24,000 pilgrims, on the 4th day of the return of Umrah, and no suspected case of Corona virus was detected. Thanks God, the pilgrims stick to the precautionary measures.



He also said that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, we have equipped 4 facilities for the health isolation of any pilgrim, God forbid, showing symptoms or suspicion of being infected with the Coronavirus. Trending : Penalty for vehicle number not in place in Saudi Arabia

- He indicated that the executive presidency’s plan for the Umrah season in the 1st phase was based on 4 main measures. They are, "prevention, disinfection, promotion and awareness".

- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has allowed the domestic (citizens and residents) to start performing Umrah at 30% capacity or 6000 pilgrims per day.
