 Insurance companies has no right to refuse for insuring people above 60 years - CCHI


The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance confirmed that the insurance companies do not have right to refuse or reject insurance for people whose age is more than 60 years.


The Health Insurance Council on its Twitter account responded it to a question, "My insured brother, The insurance company has no right to refuse the insurance applications for those who are over 60 years of age".

- The Health Council clarified that there is no maximum age that the employer is bound by when insuring the employees of his company, while the minimum age for insurance of the employee is set to 15 years.

- The Health Insurance also clarified that a new insurance is required when requesting an extension of the visit visa, and the Council stated that “upon requesting an extension of the visit visa, a new insurance is issued that covers the extension period, to be linked to passports,” .
