 Saudi Arabia contributes 100 Million dollars to UN global plan to counter Covid-19


Saudi Arabia announced a 100 million dollars (375 million Saudi Riyals) contribution to the Corona virus global humanitarian response plan, produced by the United Nations.


This was announced by the Saudi Ambassador for the United Nations Abdallah Al-Mouallimi during a virtual meeting between him and UN secretary general Antonio Guterres.

- The Saudi mission to the United Nations said that the World Health Organization (WHO) and other UN agencies will benefit from this donation. Trending : Insurance companies has no right to refuse insurance for over 60 years old

- Saudi Arabia has been among the first countries to extend its hand and coordinate with the states that were the most severely impacted by the Corona virus pandemic said Al-Mouallimi.

- Guterres thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the Saudi Arabia's generous support, saying Saudi has worked in partnership with the United Nations to back security and stability in the world, especially in Yemen.
