 Resumption of International flights to Saudi Arabia Under Review - Health Minister

The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah explained that the date of the resumption of suspended international flights is subject to continuous analysis on the basis of the extent of the spread of Covid-19.

He said "Accordingly, An appropriate decision wil be taken based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman".

- The minister revealed the remarks during an interview with AL Ekhbariya channel, responding to a question about the date of resumption of international flights, he added that the authorities are concerned with the safety of everyone. - He stated that, As long as there are infection of Covid-19, precautions must be taken to ensure the health and safety of all.

 
- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has suspended international flight services temporarily since March 15 as part of measures in order to combat the Corona virus pandemic.

- Earlier this month, Saudi Airlines cited requirements for travel to 25 countries and announced 7 conditions for transport of passengers returning to Saudi Arabia on its flights, once the ban is lifted. Read : Fine for driving without valid driving license in Saudi Arabia

- The national carrier called on all passengers to follow health instructions based on the directives issued by Saudi Health authorities.
