 Obtain a permit to perform Umrah through Umrah App from 27 September


The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has set steps to obtain a permit to perform Umrah after allowing it to be performed, starting from October 4, for citizens and residents inside the Kingdom in the first phase, while taking the necessary health precautions.


According to the Ministry, the entry for Umrah pilgrims, worshipers and visitors to the Two Holy Mosque will be from Downloading the “I'tamarna” application on the mobile starting from September 27, 2020.

Then reserve your details and choose an available date for Umrah or perform the prayer in the Grand Mosque or visit, then obtain a permit to perform Umrah from the Tawakalna app, according to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

The ministry said in a statement, “This step would consist of a number of measures, including providing a guarantee that the pilgrim or worshiper or visitor is free from coronavirus.

- “The application enables pilgrims and worshipers to select the appropriate time for performing of the rituals in accordance with the available dates, as well as to choose the accompanying services that they wish to be made available for them such as choosing the means of transportation, gathering points and service centers.”

- The ministry clarified the importance of the pilgrims and visitors to strictly adhere to the precautionary measures that ensure their safety and health, such as wearing mask, maintaining safe physical distance, and comply with the times and routes designated for each pilgrim and visitor.
