Saudi Arabia calls to sight Dhu Al Hijjah month Crescent Moon Today evening
The Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia has called on all Muslims in the Kingdom to spot the new crescent of the Dhu Al Hijjah month on the evening of Monday, The 29th day of Dhu Al Qaidah month (20th July 2020).
Dhu Al Hijjah is the 12th month of Hijri calendar, To know the exact beginning of this year's Hajj rituals Saudi Arabia to sight the crescent moon of Dhu Al Hijjah month on Monday evening.
- Those who see the moon with the naked eye or by telescope can notify the nearest court and register his testimony or contact the nearest center to help him to reach the nearest court.
- The court hopes that whoever has the sighting ability to take interest in the matter and join the committees formed for this purpose in Saudi regions.
As per the astronomical calculations, Dhu Al Hijjah month this year is going to begin on 22nd July and the climax of Hajj at the Mount Arafat in Makkah will take place on 30th June.
- This year's Hajj is going to be different, Due to the limited number of pilgrims because of the Corona virus pandemic.
- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah already shortlisted the people those who are going to perform Hajj this year and all the health formalities are going with the Health Ministry. This year the number of pilgrims would be 10,000 in which 70% will be various nationalities and 30% will be Saudi nationals.
