Saudi Arabia started using Smart Helmets to monitor People's Temperatures at Public places

Saudi Arabia has started using smart helmets with thermal radiation to scan the near by individuals in order to identify people with high body temperatures in public areas. Trending : IOM praises Saudi Arabia for treatment of Expats during Corona crisis




The Eastern region Municipality has already implemented the use of these helmets to stop the spread of corona virus in public places and shopping malls.

These smart helmets with thermal radiation can scan the temperatures up to 5 meters away and can scan up to 200 people per minute and give an alert if someone has a fever said the mayor of the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia, Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir. - The number of the municipality's employees have been trained to operate these smart helmets in several commercial sites and markets to provide the highest levels of prevention and health safety, he added.
