International Organization for Migration praises Saudi Arabia treatment for Expatriates during Corona crisis

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) congratulated Saudi Arabia on its efforts made to make sure that foreign workers did not bear any further risks during the corona virus. Trending : Saudi Arabia records 37 deaths in a day, Highest toll as of now




The IOM stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia made great efforts in its treatment to expatriate workers during the Covid-19 crisis, By ensuring justice in free access to health care related to Corona virus for everyone, regardless of the status of classification of their migration.

- The Organization also praised the Saudi Arabia's protection of the welfare of expatriate workers and public health by reducing overcrowding in detention centers and against racism. Recommend : Gulf states may not witness 2nd wave of corona virus

- As there is no discrimination was seen in data between citizens and expatriates, Kingdom is doing all efforts to spread the awareness through wide distribution of infection prevention and control messages in various languages.
