Saudi Arabia arrests man on Charges of Human Trafficking and raises Money by Begging

Riyadh Police in Saudi Arabia has arrested an expatriate man on the charges of human trafficking, he was forcing group of women and children into begging on the roads of Riyadh reports Saudi Press Agency. Trending : Top 10 Weakest Currencies of the World in 2020




The media spokesperson for Riyadh Police Col. Shaikir Al Tuwaijri said that the security follow up of the violators resulted in the arrest of a Yemeni national, after his evidence of human trafficking forcing a group of women and children in violation of the border security system to collect money by begging.

- He transport them from the houses in Al Shumaisi neighborhood in Riyadh to the number of locations in the city for begging and returning them at the end of the day, He was collecting the money they got by begging. Recommend : Ministry of Health launches Coronavirus Awareness website

- The suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom for further investigations and to take legal action against him.




- Riyadh Police highlighted the keenness of the Interior Ministry to crackdown on all forms of human trafficking and apply all laws firmly against the violators. Saudi Arabian authorities highlighted their keenness to ensure the safety and security of the Kingdom, its citizens and expatriate residents.
