Saudi Arabia bans Marriages below the age of 18

Saudi Arabia have officially set a minimum age for marriage on both young men and women. Now the minimum age to marry is set to 18 years. Trending : New Conditions for Saudis to marry Expats




The Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom issued a circular to all the courts in Saudi Arabia prohibiting the marriage of teens who are below the age of 18 years.

- All the cases involving young men and women below the age of 18 years have been referred to special courts to finalize their procedures in compliance with the new rule and the Child Protection Law. Read : New rules for Saudi woman marrying expat man or foreign man
